I have just completed a chemistry lab where I observed that zinc reacts with hydrochloric acid, while copper does not. I have to answer why it is dangerous to spill; acid from a car battery onto the metal frame of the car. Why is this?

    it does slowly cause metal to rust, and affects paint

    wash off with plenty of water to neutralise

    Causes damage to your car gradually and will not look good and it will cost a lot! ££££££££££$$$$$$$$$$$$$
