when you have insurance on the vehicle you have insurance on the drivers also. i do suggest that you give the names and drivers license numbers of your hired drivers to the insurance company though hermitofnorthdome

you can get insurance even if you don’t have a driver’s license. but just for curiosity’s sake, why don’t you have a driver’s license? linz_b

the registered owner (you) needs to register the car. bring the title and the proof of insurance to the tag agency. YOU need to insure the car.

why don’t you have your license? Daaling!

The company I work for (I do home health) required me to have my own insurance along with my clients vehicle insurance. I’m not sure if we are talking about the same situation but, if I were you, I would contact my insurance agent before I allow someone to drive my vehicle without their having insurance themselves. i can pinpoint your concern but if you are talking about the insurance of your vehicle , you may ensure it with comprehensive insurance policy or own damage insurance…. in that case, if ever your vehicle will accidentally involved in a vehicular accident, your insurance will reimburse you with the damaged parts provided that your driver will not deviate the insurance policy…. have a safe way home… god bless you…. jorge f

You would need to be excluded from coverage under your policy . Sounds weird, I know. Some insurance companies will write this kind of policy, others will not. Also depends on the state you live in.

But yes, if you have licensed drivers to operate them, let your carrier know. marvelboy74
