When I pull start my nitro RC car, the wheels immediately start spinning, is this normal?
P B asked:
I have a Nitro RC car with a pull start engine. I’ve finally got the engine to start, the only thing is, the wheels immediately start spinning… I don’t think this is normal, and may perhaps need some clutch tuning that I know nothing about. I have to hold the brakes on the transmitter so the car doesn’t move, as soon as I release the brakes the car takes off, not very quickly like but moves forward nonetheless. I’m not sure what might need to be done, any help you provide will be greatly appreciated.

your idle is to high try the trim for the throttle or adjust the needles to slow it or as you say you may need to adjust the clutch the instruction’s should tell you how to do it
