When cleaning your car, how do you get rid of soap stains?
figg7 asked:
I clean my car with a sponge and dishwasher soap. Everytime I rinse it and dry it, soap stains come out. Whats the deal?

Try a different soap, one formulated specifically for car washing.

It may be because you’re using the dish washing liquid, I read that you’re only supposed to use car wash concentrate on your car. You should try that. That’s what I use and don’t have any soap stains. Hope that helps!

Use a soap designed for autos, rinse well and you wont have the problem.

dish soap leaves a residue that’s hard to wash off, you’ll have to rinse repeatedly till all signs of soap are gone, then you’ll have to wipe down the car really good. Suggestion is to buy soap designed for cars, or if you insist on using dish soap use Cascade brand. If you have the money to spend, specialty car washes use distilled water to rinse because it leaves no water spots.
