What was the favorite car you ever owned?

car
Oreo Schmoreo asked:

Mine was a 1940 Chevy with suicide doors. I saw it in a field in the country and asked the owner if he’d be willing to sell it. I got it for $1300! I sold the car about 5 years ago, and I still miss it.

I did not own this car, it was my mothers when I was small. But I still miss it to this day.
It was a 1968 & 1/2 Ford Mustang. Light Seafoam green, 4 on the floor. It was fast and awesome. She got rid of it after her and my dad got a divorse.
I will get another one before I die. (I hope) LOL.

1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 automatic, Vitamin C orange, black vinyl roof, power windows, A/C, AM/FM 8-track, rear defogger, 3.55 gears….My first car after high school was my dad’s 69 Plymouth Satellite station wagon with a 318 that I almost converted to a Road Runner look…thought that would be cool…a Road Runner wagon. But it only had a 318 and I really loved the Charger ..I had seen the movie “Bullitt” and the testosterone got flowing and I fell in love with it. My brother’s boss had a tenant that had one and I bought it for 800.00 which was a ton of money for me back then. The car was all original and only had a small rust bubble on the right quarter panel and 70,000 miles with a new engine from Dodge at 48,000 for a wrist pin noise. I kept it for 7 years and spent my whole paychecks for quite a while restoring it with new parts and a paint job….and a few tickets. Sold it to some kid that kept pestering me to buy it for $2800.00 and wish I had kept it now but had no place to store it. Would be worth a whole lot now but mainly, all the memories it would bring back….drag racing, cruising with friends, working on it with my brothers and friends, and the looks people gave me at stoplights was priceless…kept me grinning all day.

1994 Jeep Wrangler. Bought it new, drove it for 8 years and around 160,000 miles then the motor locked up. I regret selling it, i should have rebuilt the engine or put a new engine in it all together-as the body was still very solid at the time. Im gonna own another one some day.
Jeeps arent for everyone-if you are some panzy who needs a nice soft cumfy ride then stay away from them. But if you want something different thats fun and challenging to drive and a REAL 4WD and SUV, buy a Jeep.

    1966 Ford Mustang w/ 302 Boss
    OH,YEAH

Got more tickets then I knew what to do with, but I could out race any car on the street.
Only problem is, it nickle&dimed me to death, so I had to sell it.
    I cried for a week!
Still miss it, and everytime I see one, I wonder if it’s the one I had owned. It was a graduation gift from my parents, seeing as how I was the only one of 4 kids that did graduate.

An old Pinto that had been rebuilt after being wrecked. When I first started driving it -no two parts were the same color. While I was recovering from surgery and not allowed to drive, my husband took it to the garage where he worked and did all the body work and repainted it all baby blue. I drove it for 4 years before the motor gave up and I had to get a new car.

I have vanity plates on her…of course 2fine4U and her name is “Miss Thang” which is in the front. I do not have a pic of her. But I included a link.
