i am doing a science project, and i need to know what the transfer of energy is in an automobile. And I mean energy like potential, kinetic, mechanical, etc. I’ve looked all over the internet for the answer, but can’t find it. please help!!!!!!!!!!

    Chemical (potential) energy in the gasoline is converted kinetick energy that drives the piston down. Up down motion of the piston is translated into rotation by the crank shaft. open_skyz

    The fuel like gasoline or diesel have chemical energy.It is burned and produce heat energy.Engine converts this into mechanical energy by pushing the pistons up and down. This dries the car through gears and shaft.
    A small portion of mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy to use in lights, horn.ignition system , etc. Chandramohan P.R
