What is the best car insurance for a decent price?
I’m 19 and I will be getting my first car soon, and I have to look for insurance. Which insurance is the best and has a decent monthly cost?

the cheapest would probably be added to your parents’ policy

You get what you pay for.

There’s no “one size fits all” cheapest company. There’s no shortcut - you have to shop around.

First thing you should do is shop around online for quotes and compare many companies, this site can do just that.

I know if you go to Progressive, you can compare rates. you have to put all you’re info in then select which insurance you want to compare with. it may take up some time, but it would be nice for you.

I’m looking for auto insurance too, Geico so far is the cheapest for me.

    Best of Luck,

autoinsurance.noneto.com - check this one. As I remember they have lowest car insurance rates for teens and young drivers.

To find the best car insurance and the best price. You need to check out comparison websites, as usually you would find the best deal there. Try theycompare.co.uk, confused.com etc

Car insurance nearly always depends on personal circumstances; age, driving record, car model, etc.. The good news is that JD Powers rates all the insurance companies and picks out the top 10. Check out the Car Insurance Ratings Link.. Amica was their top pick, for what it’s worth.

    Hi,

you might wanna try this company - they have very good services and affordable prices:

And they will also give you a free quote super fast.

Yes, you should get quotes and find out the best rate for you. Don’t forget about the conditions of your car.

You may have some discounts if you are good at school because many car insurance providers have good students discounts.

Stick with the bigger carrier’s as they tend to be able to underwrite(assess) the risk you bring as a younger driver. A cut rate carrier who advertises a focus on young drivers or those with a poor driving record generally offer a low starting price but take larger annual increases or hit you very hard if you make a claim.

If you buy a car that is older or didn’t cost much, consider carrying liability insurance only. Remember an insurer can “total” out a car at 70 to 80% of it’s value depending on the state you live in. Why pay $300 a year for a few years for collision coverage when in the event you actually make a claim you’d only receive slightly more because your car has little $$$ value.
