Not many people are willing to spend over $7 on a carwash. If you think that many people are going to show up, you can make your price lower, which, will in turn, lure more people in to wash their car. (the more people, the more donations) If you plan on having no service, go with a higher price (not too outrageous) around $6.50 is reasonable. It depends on how many donations you are expecting to get..

They usually sell tickets ahead of time and they were usually $5 each. This gave students the chance to sell tickets and get money up front. It also gave them an idea of how many cars they would be washing that day. And some of the time the people who bought a ticket don't show up, but that does not matter since you already have the money! Plus you will have people who will want to drive up to get their car washed. That means more money raised! Good luck.
