What are the fields in engineering which are associated with the automobile industry?

Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering. Civil engineering might be involved with highway construction, transportation economics. fcas80

There are many, as in the above response. The question is what do you like to do? Mechanical deals with one area, while electrical deals with another. These are the two most common, others might include industrial and manufacturing, and some places have electro-mechanical programs. FM
