q t asked: My car tires are starting to get worn down on the top part of the tire facing the car. It only does this to the back wheels.. One of my friends said it could be the lower control arm bushings (no idea what the is). Does this sound right? What else could cause this?

Screwpilot asked: I have a pretty old used 1992 crown victoria with 152k miles on it, that might be why. But still it seems to have started vibrating more recently. I used to be able to go 110mph with it a little vibrating, now if I try to go past 100mph it starts to feel like the car is gonna blow apart. Aspecially the turning wheel. What makes it vibrate? Is it the tires? Suspension? Motor?

dragon asked:
I am looking to get new tires on my car today and have P185/70R14 on my car right now. Do I have to buy tires with this exact size for the rims I have on my car? Or, is there some play with some of the numbers? I know the 14 indicates 14inch rims but don’t understand the rest of it.
