Lori S asked: I have a 1988 Pontiac Grand Am. After driving for a short period of time (usually about 20 mins.) and after having to sit in idle once I start going again the car will start to buck when I come to a stop the car will die. When the car sits for about 20 mins. it will start back up and act like nothing ever happend. Also the car heats up when in idle. I have ruled out torque converter.

For example, as a woman on my own driving through a city late at night, and my car breaks down. I have to sit inside my car waiting for the RAC, but it is a very dodgy area. What can I do to lock my nissan micra with intelligent key system, whilst I am in it with my key?

bettysdad asked: Yesterday, not far from my home, one direction of a 10 lane major freeway was closed due to a horrific accident. In California that’s called a SigAlert. As I listened to the radio while working, I realized the freeway had been closed for 8-10 hours. They can’t expect anyone to just sit there all that time! At the least, you gotta hit the head!
So how does the Hwy Patrol get everybody off the freeway, and back to their business? You couldn’t go forward, and the other nearest exit was about 21/2 miles BEHIND the accident.I’m particularly interested in the cars at the very front, almost touching the accident.
I was really hoping someone from a hwy patrol org would have answered.

RayRay1284 asked:
Every week someone’s cat walks all over the hood of my car which I just cleaned. The cat leaves their paw prints all over the hood of my expensive car. I have nothing against cats but I always have to clean my car a lot since of this. Is there some sort of scented car wash that will discourage the cat from walking on my car? I have a feeling that the cat likes to sit on my car because it’s warm on the hood.
