James S asked: I was just wondering if it is possible to start a car while it is in the reverse gear?
Ok, so I get in the car put the clutch in, put it in reverse and roll BACKWARDS down a hill, released the clutch and the wheels turned the engine and the car…..?(will it start)?
I clutch started it
Will the car start in the reverse gear?
What are the consequences?
What will happen?

saga asked: Occasionally when I accelerate my car jerks and then is fine. It feels a lot like when a person lets their foot off the clutch to fast when they are inexperienced driving a manual car. Also, I’ve notice that sometimes it seems to happen immediately after I have shifted into a higher gear. It seems to be getting more frequent. I’ve been driving the car almost 8 years and have never had this problem before.
It is a 1989 Honda Prelude 2.0 si.

huntertristan asked: My mother always revs up the car and drives it a high speeds of 20-30 before going into 2nd gear and then when getting to 35-40 will go into third. She never uses forth gear. I am convinced she will ruin the car by driving this way. In fact the last 2 cars our family had just suddenly gave up after 6 years or so. After observing my mother’s driving method, I wonder do I now have the reason why this happened?
