I have a lot of experience in the automotive industry (basicly fully fixing and customizing with a little help) and was thinking to start buying old rusty (maybe classic) cars for like $500-$6000 and put like $15000 into it and fully fix it up what do you think the profit will be?
I have alot of people who are coming in and asking if i do that and was asking if that would be good to start
$1000 to $15000 depending on the custumer and the car
I have my own shop that has everything you need or want for a car

My car literally just died and I need another one fast. Sadly I have limited funding, $3000 is my limit. What is a good and very reliable car that I can find for cheap. If I spend a lot on this car, I won’t have anything to fall back on if it breaks. Any suggestions?

I have been involved in a lot of environmental work sinced I educated myself with global warming. I own a car, but it’s a truck. I really want to get rid of it and trade it in for a hybrid car. I heard that hybrid cars don’t have the best life span and also more expensive to maintain (to fix), and the battery cost a lot if it dies. Could someone please tell me more information about hybrid cars?

We don’t have a child yet but are thinking about having one in the next year. We have a dog and we travel a lot by car to see family, so adequate space and good gas mileage are important. We are looking to spend in the $18K-$25K range. I have not had great experiences with American made cars and would probably prefer an import for reliability, unless you can convince me otherwise!

Why does my car differ in acceleration and speed at different times?

If it helps, I have a 1993 Lincoln Towncar…and well, sometimes my car doesn’t kick when floored whatsoever, sometimes it does slightly, and on rare occasions, it does what it’s supposed to and accelerates like crazy when I barely press the pedal. Like all of a sudden after accelarating slow-moderate for a week or two, it suddenly picks up by A LOT in the middle of my driving, then goes back to being sow after a day or two.

Does anyone know why this could be happening? I’d like it to act like it does on the good days where it actally accelerates and speeds up nicely on a normal daily basis.

I will be deployed for around 13 months, and the car will be parked outdoors on a paved lot in Texas. I’m not sure whether or not it is a covered lot. What can I do to weatherize my car and protect it while it is not being driven, and what kind of maintainance should I expect to need when I return to get it back into safe, reliable driving condition?

I park my car under a tree that drops a lot of pollen. I want to cover my car with something. The car covers are too much work, so I was considering a tarp to just throw over it. I also have considered a canopy, but those are expensive and not a size that would work. Any suggestions?
It’s a parking spot that I have with a tree over it. I don’t have a choice.

I would like to fly into Las Vegas, rent a car, drive it to Denver, and then fly out of Denver. With a lot of car rental places, you have to return the car to the same place you rented it, but are there some car rental companies that will let you rent it from Point A and return it to Point B?
