I ran over something, and I guess it scratched something underneath my car. It started making noises and this morning, all the oil was leaked out of it. I got it towed and it has been at the shop since this morning. How long will it take to be fixed?

(It’s a beetle convertible, if this information helps)
what’s a estimate of the time it’ll take?
ex. weeks, a month…

I assume it was running out while I was driving and then leaked out overnight.

In winter, I have to take the cord plug out and let it hang besides the front lights. During driving, the plug wavers and scratches the front cover.
I guess I have to send my car to remove the scratches. But how can I prevent it happen next time?

How to repair a car tape player with a crayon in it?

A neighbor’s child stuck a crayon (yellow, for visuals) into my car’s tape player. You cannot see it much less remove it but today, my player will not work. It’s been hot and I guess it’s now melted and moved somewhere more critical. Is there any hope? I have considered using a blow dryer to melt it ‘all the way out’, if that’s possible. Would that damage the tape player? Thank you!
