Ray <3 asked: I’m looking for a good car that is cute but well priced with good gas milage and easy to handle as a first car. I don’t mind it being used or old but I want something less than 7 years old (if it is old).
Something with over 30mpg would be most optimum but with a sportier feel. 2-4 cylinder engine.
Thank you!

I am 18 and just about to get my first car. I narrowed it down to two cars: a 1993 Volvo 240 and a 1980 Mercedes 300 TD. Both cars are in pretty much mint condition. The Volvo has 97,592 miles on it and the Merc only has 29,145 miles, which is pretty unusual because these car usually go up to 200k miles or more. Anyway, I want to know which car would be a better choice to get.

I’m planning on getting my triplet girls their first car for their birthday which is coming up, its what they really want. I think I’ll just get the three of them one car to share because I don’t have the money for three. I think they’ll be ok with it because the girls are very close and rarely fight. I need suggestions on what is a good “first car”…What kind of car did you get your kids?
Something not too expensive but not too cheap, something of good quality…what do you suggest?

I’m planning on buying my first car and I found a good price from a private seller. The only problem is he lives about 50 miles from my house. If I decide to buy it, how can I legally get a car back to my house having no plates or insurance?
