thomas7399 asked: How do I attach a wire to an automotive fuse? The fuse supplies a constant 12v which I want to send to my car stereo. I ran a wire from the stereo to the fuse panel (to the left of the steering wheel). The fuses have two metal prongs with a wire connecting them and the top of them is enclosed in plastic. Is there a special type of fuse that allows me to attach a wire?
Thanks!

Jayden N asked: I just bought a new car deck because the stock deck in the cavalier really sucks. The car deck in the Cavalier is way bigger than the new one i just bought. If i install the new one there will be a big gap in the dashboard, is there anything i can buy to cover it up?
Also do i need to buy a new car deck harness to install it? Or do i just connect the harness that came with the new car stereo to the stock harness that’s already in the car.

MKN asked: I’m looking for a ballpark figure, nothing exact. I’m wondering approximately how long I can have my car stereo on with my engine off without draining the battery down too far.
I have an aftermarket CD player which is 17 watts RMS per channel (45 maximum). I don’t have any amplifiers or subwoofers hooked up.

aout asked: I was recently in a car accident, and the fire fighters cut my battery lead on my car. My dad and I went to the compound the next day to retrieve my cd player from the car since the car is a write-off.
My problem, is that there is still a cd in the deck. How do I get it out without damaging anything? The cd was needs to be returned to my work.

nobuy0820 asked: Hi all, thanks for reading my question!
I have a subwoofer and amplifier from my older car and would like to install them for my new car (Toyota Highlander). The CD stereo is the original stock, and I have already taken it out of the dashboard and checked what optional outputs it has on the back. It actually did not have a subwoofer output. When I asked car audio staff at Best Buy, he said that we can use a splitter (I am not sure if it is correct) and get the cable hooked up from the speakers on the door.
I know if I take my car to car audio shops, I can get it done fast. But I dnt want to leave my car for a few days because I need to drive it everyday. Have someone done this before ? Is there any website that instruct the installation or sell the splitter I have mentioned before ? Thank you, all!

This will most likely be for a Mitsubishi Eclipse but that isn’t for sure. I always find websites for high current aftermarket alternators for GM or other domestic vehicles, but all I find for import cars is OEM replacement alternators. Any ideas? Need for car stereo.
