QuestionsAnswered asked:
I am trying to recoup costs of a car which I purchased last year. Basically it costs a decent amount of money (30,000) and I wish to attempt to sell tickets for a raffle which would allow the winner to then own the car and I would keep the raffle money. Im not sure if that is legal in the state of New Jersey, so I wanted to see if anyone knew if this was possible. Thanks for your help.

I’m about to buy a new car, but unfortunately I’m 18 years old and have two violations. What are somethings to look for in a car that will lower my insurance? What kinds of cars and SUV’s generally are low on insurance?
I should have said I’m buying a car. Definatly not a new car, just new to me.

Ok I’m curious to know if it is illegal to tow a car on nyc highways, particularly the long island expressway? I’m asking because I am moving from long Island to New Jersey and I’m working on a project car that’s currently not running so I’m planning on towing it with U-Haul. Does anyone know or have done this in the past?

nancyclarissa1970 asked:
Where can I find out what the dealership actually pays for a car (new and used) so I can see what kind of leverage I have when negotiating a price on a new car? I refuse to go into a dealership again without knowing all the facts so I don’t get screwed by their high sticker price! Thanks!

So, getting ready to move to another state (going from Georgia to Colorado). How long do I have to register my car, get a new license and plate, before the car’s registration is illegal?

Ken W asked: I need to jump start my car, but my friend won’t let me use his car’s battery, claiming that:
He recently replaced his car battery with a new one. He’s been told that a new battery should not be used to jump start another battery for the first year of the new battery’s use (I hope that made sense).
So, is my friend making up facts or is this true?

Dad asked:
Notice that new smell of a brand new car? Nothing feels as great as having your car smell like brand new. It just gives a great feeling. Unfortunately, the smell is temporary and you might be interested in purchasing another new car in the future just for that smell. But isn’t there something I could buy for the car so it smell like brand new again?

He’s my one and only! asked:
I am looking for something that is brand new, that will run awhile, with not a bunch of problems. The car doesn’t have to have power everying, or all the new electornics most new cars have today. I just want something that I can aford without going into debt over. I would only like a 3 year loan or lease.

apknuke asked:
I just moved from New York state to Illinois two months ago.
However, my company plans me to move me to the office in California.
I’m trying to sell my car in Illinois before I move to California and planning to buy a new or used car over there.
I don’t plan on changing my title, insurance, registration from NY to Illinois since I’m changing my car and live in California.
How can I sell an out-of-state registered car?
