anonymous asked: I am working on a project to build an electromagnetic car engine, and I need a way to recharge a car battery without plugging it in, or using gas. I will consider even the most unlikely theories. Thank you.

Larry W asked:
I had just bought a 2001 Saab 95-SE with 77,000 miles on it. The motor blew 3 days later, and the dealership has replaced it with a used engine with similar mileage. How much is the value of the car depreciated? The kbb value is $8000 retail.

Eric asked:
I’m replacing my burned-out engine with one from my sister’s car (which has too much other damage to be of any use, except for the engine). The mechanic’s estimate on the labor hours seemed high to me. Basically, I need them to take the engine out of my car, take the engine out of my sisters car, and put her engine into my car. Nothing else.

Mark A asked: My car is making a weird ticking noise coming from the front. It happens when the car is moving, with engine on or off, or even in neutral. Whenever car is moving, and only when moving, the noise happens.
Gets faster when car is faster.
Thanks for any help!
Does not come from either wheel as we jacked each side up on left the other side on ground, and with only one side spinning at a time, it still made the noise.

djandrey_m asked: So I go like this, right?
1) + terminal of the running car to + terminal of the dead car
2) - terminal of the running car to the engine block of the dead car
Is this right?

So I have this little car, 93 Ford Tempo, and it usually takes about $30 to fill it up. Two days ago I filled it up and it stopped at $52!!!! I drove it home about 2 miles and now it wont start! I dont know whats wrong with it and I was told I killed the engine by drowning it with gas. Is this possible? Does anyone know whats really wrong with it?

mark asked:
That is, if I want to leave the battery in approximately the same charged state as before starting the car, roughly how long do I have to run the engine to make up for the draw on the battery to start it? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? 30?
