How can i make my car sound good with out rattling?

How to connect a car subwoofer to a home amplifier?

It doesn’t have a pre-amp sub output, it has a bunch of the regular inputs, 4 speaker outputs, and 2 system control jacks. I want to hook up the car subwoofer so that it only plays bass, but when connected to one of the speaker outputs it simply acts as a speaker. Is this do-able?
