q t asked: My car tires are starting to get worn down on the top part of the tire facing the car. It only does this to the back wheels.. One of my friends said it could be the lower control arm bushings (no idea what the is). Does this sound right? What else could cause this?

Benji asked: I want to know if its a bad idea to trade in my $11k car for an equal value truck. I am going to be buying a home in about 4 months, and i don’t want the trade to mess up anything with the home loan.
If its bad before the home loan, what about after the home loan is completed?
I know it would be best to just keep the car, but i need a truck.

Austin asked: Well, I have two choices. A 2008 Honda Accord or a 1967 Camaro. The 67 I built from the ground up and finished it acouple months ago. It is also the car that I will be driving daily. The Camaro would definitely impress with its custom paint and good looks, but would the Honda be the safer choice?

Amsz asked: I would like to know more about buying a car through a public auction, repossessed cars, police seized cars, government auctions. How do i get into these auctions? What can i expect? Where would the best auctions be located in California? How does the auction work? What are good sources to look up the car’s history before buying it through an auction? Are there available warranties or are these car’s “as is”? The more information you can provide, the better.

Bailey Forester asked: Ok it is the end if the year and a car dealer has 20 cars left unsold for that year. What happens to those 20 cars? Does the dealer change the sticker to the next year or do they sell them to rental companies or send them back to the factory? If they are sent back to the factory what happens to the car then? Is it disassembled and melted down or sent to overseas markets for sale? Also do dealers buy a certain number of cars for each year based off of previous sales?

For teh Lulz asked: I want to drive a car off a cliff for a film I am doing in Video Class. In it, there will be one scene where the character is standing under a cliff, then there is a doll there when the car explodes, then in the scene after, the character walks off, discovering he has superpowers. My goal is to make the explosion as big as possible without using nuclear bombs. What sort of car is best suited to fly to pieces in an explosion, and what sort of explosives would best blow apart the car upon impact?

Wendy H asked: I found a car I want and I believe I am going to buy it tomorrow (Saturday). My lender has pre-approved me and is ready to send the money. Can I give the car sales lot a deposit check to secure the car before my lender gets the money to them so they do not sell the car?

astonmartinone77 asked: I am trying to sell new car brochures online and I was wondering what the easiest way is to buy bulk new car brochures. I don’t know if I should buy directly from the supplier, or from the car company, etc. Also if there is a way to do this, I’d like for someone to tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance!
Oh, and don’t say just go to the dealer because you can’t run a business selling brochures if you only get a few new brochures every week or so. I need to buy them in bulk.
Oh and even MORE details, I am not selling them right away obviously. I am stockpiling them and I’m gonna wait a few years when you can’t get them anymore.
And again, even more info. I don’t know how to contact the manufacturer. It doesn’t say anywhere on the brochures. If I can find out online, I don’t know how.
