Why in the world consider doing this? There has to be a safer solution to your project. Even if this isn't illegal, it should be. A battery is heavy. Aside from spilling electrolyte, if it broke loose in an accident, it would cause a lot of damage to anything that it struck. In cases like this, follow your common sense. Also, if you live in a forest fire prone area , or your vehicle is parked near a house fire, the hydrogen.....need I say more? I would do a bit more research into power packs and aternative power units.
