A lease is much different than a bank lending you money for a car.

You signed an agreement/contract with Chrysler to barrow/lease something they had that you needed. In simple terms they let you barrow the car for $xxx per month, for xxx period of time, after that, you agreed to return it or buy it.

Well, by not giving it back or buying it as you agreed to do, they could very well have you charged with Grand theft, intent to defraud and breach of contract, its that simple.

There are alot of suggestions in other answers here. You're breaking the law. Consider consulting with a legal adviser or an attorney. They will tell you the same thing.... return the property as soon as possible. Crazy

I'm guessing that you listed the lease to be assumed in the bankruptcy, that means it's as if you didn't even file the BK.

Drive the car to the dealership and return it today.

Otherwise, you could hire a reposession firm to come pick it up.
But that's an expensive route.
I phrase it as such because you will be responsible for all collections fees when they sue you for forcing them to do that to you. Dark Green Money

If you leased the car you are SUPPOSED to return it after the lease expires, not keep it. That's theft. The police may have a bench warrant out for you, C-Tech
