How do you train a dog from chasing cars?
Christian M asked:
My dog when he gets loose from his leash he tends to run after cars and doesn’t come back for awile or until we catch him.
I want to train him so he wont chase cars so I can let him loose and he will stay in the yard.

Your best bet is to never have him off a leash.

Get you’re yard fenced. You cannot train a dog to stay in the yard, it is impossible, and there is a pretty good chance that he will be hit by a car and seriously injured or killed especially seeing as he likes to chase them! besides that, he could be stolen or injured by somebody.
when he is out on a walk, make sure he doesn’t get out of his leash. train him to walk on a leash properly.
speaking of which, how often is he taken for proper walks?
