How do you protect a car from hail damage?
barbieisagoddess asked:
I just recently bought a new car that I will have to park outside. We live in a state with lots of storms and frequent hail. Hail Damage was not a big concern on my old car but it is on my new car. How do I protect my car from hail damage? Are there any products on the market that can prevent damage? I do not have access to a covered area to protect my car. Any tips, homeaid remedies etc. would be greatly appriciated! Thanks

There really is no way to protect it from hail if it is parked under the sky.

It is called a garage . Sorry but not being smart , just stating truth . Even a thick car cover will not help .

I live in NW Arkansas, we have hail too. Once as a hail storm was approaching, my wife and I covered her car with two thick comforters (quilts). It looked funny and the neighbors laughed, but our car didn’t have dents in it, theirs did. Try parking under a tree, or on the leeward side of a building to minimize damage. Other than taking it to a covered area, like a car wash, there isn’t really much you can do. I don’t know of any product other than carports reasonably priced that might work. Keep full coverage insurance and hope for the best. Good luck!

get yourself a car cover but get the kind that breaths so your car won,t sweat.
