How do rebound car collisions work in terms of Physics?
Rupert Maiden asked:
Like when two cars collide and try to swerve away, but crash then rebound and roll off or move off in different directions…

Like when two cars collide and try to swerve away, but crash then rebound and roll off or move off in different directions…
for example, car A comes from the east, car B comes from the west. Car A and B collide and Car A goes off at an angle of 68 degrees south while car B goes off at 22 degrees north, how would this happen?

Hint: the impulses each car exerts on the other is entirely perpendicular to the plane of impact.
Just set it up such that the plane of impact is such that the impulses are somewhat perpendicular to initial motion. gintable
