How do I get my car title when my car is in a different state?
karl asked:
I moved to Arizona and left my car with a neighbor in Florida. Naturally, I thought I brought the title with me, but to my dismay it has turned up lost. How would I go about getting a new one?

You need to contact the DMV and fill out an application for a replacement.

I don’t know If your state, florida, will allow this transaction in there On line seminar. If not then the easiest way is to just file for a duplicate and It will be sent to Your address. In most states the duplicate title app allows for a change of address BUT not to a Different state. The easiest by far is just file the application with a copy of your Florida Drivers license. But check if they will allow the Arizona address change. May work, at least it is not fraudulent. Good Luck. Oh, one other question.: Is your car cuurently financed? If so, the bank will more then lickely have the title. And If It is your State WILL NOT allow a duplicate if a loan is out standing.
