How can I check if my car registration is expired if I can’t find my registration?

Girloncomp asked:

We have a “pleasure” car which we drive in the summer, and we just pulled off the car cover. I cannot find the registration for it so I don’t know when the registration expires so is there a way to look it up online? Or anywhere else (in person or phone)? I live in PA and the dmv website wasn’t helpful only renewals.

If you have a registration tag on the rear plate it should have a month on it. If the month is close or past the immediate month then you probably need to renew.

Phone an actual person at the dmv, they have computers there, as well. You will have to confirm your identity before they will access your account.
