Do british cars have the same voltage 12v cigarette lighters?
elektrohawk asked:
I am planning a trip to europe this fall, and have a charger for my cellphone that plugs into the cigarette lighter in my ford truck, and i was wondering, will that same charger plugin work in cars in the united kingdom as well, or will i need a different type of charger? THANKS!

Yes, the cars have the same voltage. The household voltage is different. Don’t bring your wall charger without an travel adapter.
