asked: We notice when a patrol car stop a car motorist. The police man ask the driver to come out so he can inspect his driving license , etc. But in my country, the driver sits inside the car and the police man bend down beside the drivers side window and put his summon book inside the car? Is this allowed in the United States?

asked: Hi,
In a situation when one hires a car and then commits a traffic offence, in many cases the police asks the rental company to provide driver details so they can charge a fine directly.
What information does the car rental company provide to the police? Is it just name and address of the driver or is it something else such as passport number or driving license details?

caltam84 asked: I heard the statistics something like every few seconds or so, somewhere and someplace a car is stolen by car thieves.
How about law enforcement to create a trap for car theft? First, the suspect gets in the bait car and drives. Then, the bait car locks itself so that way the suspect cannot escape, and the policemen follow the decoy car to arrest the suspect.

sparky89 asked: I commute using mass transit in the NYC area and was wondering in all the terror attacks on mass transit across the world what are the most popular cars in a train to get attacked? The first? The last car? All the cars at the same-time? Answers from professionals are welcome

inga18us asked:
Hi, does anyone know what kind of police calls require SIX police cars? I have a neighbor and the police came to his house, I counted a total of six police cars. He didn’t get arrested or anything, and they didn’t search his house. Only one police officer went to the door. But a total of six Police cars came to the house.

Andy Watson asked: Will they go for Sports cars, luxury cars, 4×4s, or something else.
With today’s economy allot of people can’t afford a card so some will just resort to Grand theft auto.
So what type of car will a thief usually want to steal?
Don’t put down the video game Grand Theft Auto. Because it won’t get picked as best answer and will get a low rating.

bettysdad asked: Yesterday, not far from my home, one direction of a 10 lane major freeway was closed due to a horrific accident. In California that’s called a SigAlert. As I listened to the radio while working, I realized the freeway had been closed for 8-10 hours. They can’t expect anyone to just sit there all that time! At the least, you gotta hit the head!
So how does the Hwy Patrol get everybody off the freeway, and back to their business? You couldn’t go forward, and the other nearest exit was about 21/2 miles BEHIND the accident.I’m particularly interested in the cars at the very front, almost touching the accident.
I was really hoping someone from a hwy patrol org would have answered.

I often see state troopers on the entrance ramps on the interstate. When they do a radar or laser check, how do they know which car they checked if several were speeding and the interstate has numerous cars on it?
