I have a 100 watt inverter that I bought from Target for 20 bucks that plugs into the cigarrette hole v12.
I’m using a laptop which uses 65 watts connected to the inverter in my car.
I would like to know how long my car battery can last WITHOUT the car engine running?

I wanted to replace my speakers for my 1996 nissan pathfinder and my dad told me to go to the junkyard and get it. He was uncertain as to what the prices would be. But i also want to get subwoofers for my car and maybe another in dash stereo. Do you think i would find that stuff in the junk yard and for how much will they range from?

I would like to put a nice sound system in my 99 buick century because the current stock speakers are not good at all. I recently installed a cd deck but I still need to buy speakers. I would like some good bass but I also want quality sound. I dont know much about car audio except that i need mid range door speakers, tweeters, subwoofers, and an amplifier to get a well balanced system. I was wondering what would be the best for 800 dollars or less.

I have a 15 watt stereo, and planned on plugging it into my car’s 12v DC cigarette outlet. I was wondering if this is a good idea, or if it will drain my battery. Also, how long would it be able to last without affecting the battery?

I have a stereo system in my car by pioneer. It has integrated tape, FM/AM, and 12 disc cd changer in the back. I would like to change the stereo without changing the 12 cd changer in the back. How would i be able to know which car stereo models are compatible with my 12 cd changer in the back? Is there anything else i should know about the matter?

I would love to install a car stereo and speakers into my rec-room wall downstairs. Is it possible to convert the car stereo so that you can somehow plug it into a regular outlet?

I am getting a new car and need to remove my Amp from my car. It is mounted in my trunk and I need to have it out by tomorrow when I trade my car in. I called Best Buy and they charge 36 bucks to take it out so it must not be a simple thing, they said it might take them 30 minutes. I looked at it and there are wires coming out of it and stuff and I dont feel comfortable doing myself unless I know how to. Should I try it myself or let a pro do it?

MystWlker asked:
Car audio system - 2 550 watt amplifiers, 2 10″ subs, 2 250 watt 6×9s, 1 .5 farad capacitor, upgraded battery and alternator. After installing the capacitor according to the manufacturer’s wiring diagram, I find that the car battery is draining while parked with the system turned off. The amps are powering off, the only apparent cause is the recently added capacitor. After removing the cap from the system, the battery drain appears to have stopped. Is this normal for a capacitor to drain the battery under these conditions, or could it be malfunctioning?
