Car dosent start but makes a clicking noise?

Car doesnt start. It makes a clicking noise. Replaced the starter. Car started up fine. Then wouldnt turn on again. Jumped the car bc all the light were off it started. Now it wont start again but the light are on. Any suggestions on the problem?

you have a dead battery! jump it and let the car run for a while. dont leave the lights or radio on when the car is not started because then it will die. duhhh. Katiepine!

Check the cables from the battery.
Clean the cables/posts by taking the cables off the battery, cleaning the inside of the clamp and the post. Put them back on and tighten.
They should NOT move on the post if you push/pull them forcefully. Bruce
