m.hoff4 asked: I was planning on purchasing a new car and wanted someone else’s opinion. I really like the WRX STI but the gas mileage is too low for fuel costs these days. I also like the Lancer EVO but I’m having a hard time finding one for an affordable price. I just want a car that I could use for everyday transportation that I can upgrade over time.
Any help would be great.

My deceased brother-in-law paid his girlfriend $500.00 for what he thought was her car. Turns out it belongs to her ex-boyfriend, it is titled in the ex boyfriends name and it also has a lien on the title. We have possession of the vehicle, can she be in trouble for selling a car that was not hers and is the family legally entitled to getting the $500 back from her? She signed a bill of sale also. We live in the state of Illinois and it is titled in Illinois.

I was under the impression that my 2003 car had ABS (anti lock braking system) because my car dealer told me so, I bought it used. Accordingly during the online application for my car insurance I said that my car has an ABS System. Pretty soon after that I discovered that my car does not have such a system. I would like to inform my insurance because I do not want to have problems in case there is an accident. But will they cancel my insurance if I tell them the truth?

i’m really new to this, ive only asked a couple friends and gotten a little bit of information. so in june im moving to a new state, and i want to get a car - right now i dont have the money to flat out buy one its not an option. i have a job lined up for me, and i have a credit card thats always been paid off, but thats about the extent. im only 20 years old. would a dealership be willing to work with me so i could make payments on a car? im not looking for expensive - 5-8k is fine with me. also, a bank wouldnt give me a loan, i dont have collateral, and my mom cant co sign, she doesnt have the best credit. so basically im 20, i’ll have a job, but i dont have money for a down payment or to flat out buy a car - will a dealership be likely to work with me on this?

I’ve priced my car to be in “fair” condition . Since this implies that the car may need some repairs anyway, why should the seller be responsible for any expenses incurred to pass inspection ?

Jenny and Betty are having a great time at Busch Gardens riding the Ubanga Banga bumper cars. Jenny, who is traveling southward in her bumper car, aims her car toward Betty, who is traveling northward in her bumper car. The cars collide and briefly come to a stop.

I cosigned with a friend, but now they can no longer afford the vehicle (Pontiac G6 4 Door Sedan). I am selling the car to the dealer or Carmax. The car’s original value was an estimated $21,000. How much can I expect either of those two to offer me? I am curious of what my net loss on the vehicle will be.
