Anthony asked:

A economical car is a car that uses less gas than most cars. Meaning each gallon of gas would travel farther. Everyone thinks economical cars are much better because they’re better on gas and you could save a lot of gas money.

But I want to know what are the DISADVANTAGES of having a economical car? please give details and enough information on this. Is there anything that’s better about car that’s a gas guzzler?
What does it mean if a car is fun to drive?

I don’t know much about cars, only how to change tires, headlamps and tail lights, and checking the fluids. Do you recommend that I could rebuild a car or do I need some experience with car mechanics to try this? If so, what type of car do you recommend starting with? I do have a mechanical mind meaning that I usually can figure how something works once I take it apart.

Notice that new smell of a brand new car? Nothing feels as great as having your car smell like brand new. It just gives a great feeling. Unfortunately, the smell is temporary and you might be interested in purchasing another new car in the future just for that smell. But isn’t there something I could buy for the car so it smell like brand new again?

Hello, I recently got into an car accident. The front of my car is smashed and I highly doubt it’s repairable. What are the proper steps to disposing the car in California, preferably with as much information that can be provided and with least amount of liability strings. The car is a 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage DE, if that helps any. Thank you.

Will my car become salvage title if the insurance pay after an accident?

HaveANiceDay asked:

My car was hidden by another car and 0% of my fault. My car only had outlook need to fix but that still took few thousands to fix it, all paid by other party. That already over 40% of my car total value.
At this situation, will my car become salvage title? Then it is absolute not fair as my car value will drop a lot.
Thanks!

Thing is my parents rented a car. But you must be 21. I have a school function thing that is like 3 miles from my house. They are thinking of letting me use the car. I know i will not cause an accident, i am just afraid of someone hitting me and the rental company finding out. Should i just take the car anyways? By the way i am too young to drive the car
are you retarded?
I have a valid license and valid insurance, just not old enough to drive it. Plus i dont drive like an asshole, and do not speed.

I am a college student looking for a reliable car, but one that is inexpensive. I know European cars have long lives, but they are expensive to fix if something goes wrong. I am looking at Mercedes, Saab, and BMW. While we are at it if you have any info on Audis and Acuras I would love that too! :)

How far should a car thermostat go before it is unsafe?

vrmatz_2006 asked:

My car recently started overheating and acting funny so I took it in and was told I needed to replace my thermostat and get my radiator flushed. I did both. The car has not overheated since then, but the thermostat on the dashboard goes up pretty high. It hasn’t gone all the way to top to over heat, but it has been pretty close. It seems to go down when I go faster, but if I slow down at lights and such it creeps up high. I don’t honestly know if I my car did this before and I am just being paranoid because I never paid any attention to it before.

Am I being paranoid? How high can the temperature gauge in the dashboard go before I should be worried? I am supposed to be driving a 6 hour trip this weekend (one way) and I don’t want to get stranded. I am also moving cross country next month and would like to know if this is going to affect me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The mechanic gave me a list of things to fix in my car which included the water pump and hoses and such but he only did that because my car is almost at the 100,000 mile mark. I felt that if there was anything wrong with my car he definitely would have told me because he would have gotten more money.

The thing is that there is definitely an improvement from before I took it to the car shop.

The temperature gauge always goes down when I speed up. Can this indicate anything? Is any of this things that I can do on my own so that I’m not spending an arm and a leg to get things fixed? I just did that a few days ago and I’m having trouble accepting the fact that I might have to do it again.
